In this article, you can learn:
- How to set up and configure your email client (Outlook) in order to send and receive emails when hosted on our cPanel servers.
Basic Settings: (replace “yourdomain” with your domain)
Incoming IMAP Server: mail.yourdomain.com.au
Outgoing SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com.au
Username: Your full email address
Password: As supplied with email setup
Incoming IMAP Port: 993 – SSL on
Outgoing SMTP Port: 465 – SSL on
NOTE: You MUST have “My Outgoing Server requires Authentication” turned ON using same settings as incoming server or you will have problems sending mail.
The videos for these guides are taken on Outlook 2019 and above, however most of the settings should be the same.
When you open Outlook for the first time, it will prompt you to set up an email account.

Your IMAP email account will now be set up to work with Outlook.
